Cash Valve has been manufacturing products for a wide range of industrial customers for 100 years. Since its founding in 1920 by the company’s namesake A.W. Cash, Cash Valve has manufactured millions of products to be installed around the world on six continents. The ownership of the Cash Valve has evolved over the years but nevertheless it has remained a recognized brand in light industrial and cryogenic markets throughout its history.
Cash Valve products are manufactured for the Americas and Europe in Black Mountain, NC, about 20 miles from the historic city of Asheville. The plant manufactures Cash Valve and Kunkle products in addition to a select group of Penberthy products. The ISO 9001 certified site opened in 1982 to manufacture Kunkle relief valves and Cash Valve lines moved into the site in 2002.
In early 2020, Emerson began manufacturing select Cash Valve products in a facility in China to serve the Asia-Pacific region.
Cash Valve pressure regulators and backpressure regulators control system pressure in a wide range of industrial fluid systems. These products are self-operating devices designed to maintain desired pressure of air, water, oil, steam, and other process fluids in various applications.
Cash Valve products are designed for various cryogenic applications such as free-standing cryogenic tanks, transport vessels, and cryogenic cylinders. These products are mainstays in bulk storage & transport markets, medical gas, and refrigeration applications.
